This is seriously the first time I have been able to line up prints correctly AND not have any puckering in the sleeves! If you click on the picture below, you can see more about this dress. Thursday, January 2, 2014. I have started off 2014 with some sewing. And by sewing, let me just interject that I mean that liberally to include reading or watching sites about sewing; straightening my sewing room, etc. Well, I embroidered a very nice towel that I got this past October from, All About Blanks. Who are also one of my favorite visitors to the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo. I combined a Christmas tree ornament with a small branch of holly. I rotated the ornament .

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. I got my patterns from Pattern Rescue. This circa one is circa 1975 and looks like a newar copy of this spring top from The Gap! Change the sleeves a little and add some buttons down the from seam and some pin tucks, Ta Da! This one is one is also circa 1975, but it looks a lot like this current top from the Gap spring line. The gap top is knit but I think that with just a little tweeking it could be pretty darn close. Friday, February 22, 2008.
